June 26 Early breakfast & at 7.00 am with picnic lunches drive past Karatu town then drive through the Ngorongoro rainforest to the Crater. Nothing will prepare you for the first sight of the crater – it is one of the most beautiful wildlife havens left on earth. June 27 & 28 6.30 a.m. Early morning game drive, return to the camp for breakfast.

For the next two days, with picnic lunches you will go on full day game drives in search of one of the world’s greatest wildlife shows, The Migration – parts of the thousands of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles are in this area, the herds are followed by predators on the lookout for wildlife weakened by the long trek.

You will visit the Retina hippo pool – where you will findHippos churning the waters, also visit Seronera valley famous for its lion, cheetah and giraffe populations.

June 29 Early breakfast&at 6.30 a.m. leave with picnic lunches and gameviewing across the Serengeti plains, drive to Ngorongoro Crater- stop at Olduvai Gorge at. Here the Leakey family found the skull of ‘zinjanthropus’ believed to have lived over 1.5 million years ago).

Descend into the crater floor for game viewing in this 2000 ft amphitheatre formed by the collapse of an extinct volcano, home to the Big Five : Elephants, Buffalo, Rhino, Lion and if you are fortunate, Leopard.

July 01 06.30 a.m Early Morning game viewing in Tarangire National Park famous for its herds of elephants. The spectacular baobab and acacia woodlands in the north are home to some 250 colorful species of birds. You may see Lions, elephants, herds of wildebeest, zebra, eland & Oryx. July 02 Breakfast and at 7.30 a.m. with picnic lunches board the daily shuttle bus to Nairobi. Met on arrival in Nairobi and brought to the hotel. Dinner at Fogo Gaucho restaurant (www.fogogaucho.co.ke ) – a Brazilian restaurant specializing on Brazilian grilled meats. Later back to the hotel for overnight.

Due to our Safari excursion in two 4WD Safari Land Cruisers from June 26 to July 1, there is limited luggage space therefore we request clients carry one small soft sided bag or carry on sized luggage per person for the entire trip.


USD 2,740.00 each of 14 in sharing a twin room.



  • All safari transport and game drives with your private 4WDriver land cruiser with popup roof and the services of an English speaking driver/guide with bottled water in the vehicle icebox, from June 26 to July 1, Arusha back to Arusha.
  • 1st& last night in Nairobi at Qaribu Inn on Bed & breakfast with Dinner at Fogo Gaucho Restaurant on the last night.
  • 5 nights on safari with meals as shown on the itinerary and two nights in Arusha at the Outpost Hotel on dinner bed & breakfast.
  • All park entrance fees& cultural visit at MtoWaMbu village (Manyara).
  • Return tourist-class 25-seater shuttle bus from Nairobi to Arusha and back.
  • Nairobi airport transfers and shuttle bus transfers in Arusha.
  • Expedited cover by AMREF Flying Doctors’ Air Ambulance evacuations (cost will be recovered from clients’ insurance company, but client themselves are not charged).
  • Tips to porters, waiters and driver/guides.




  • Beverages with meals &Laundry.
  • International air tickets Medical, travel or other insurance.
  • Visa fees (US$50 each for Kenya to get this from the internet before arrival see website: ecitizen.go.ke.)
  • US$50 each for Tanzania visa – you can get this at the border (&cost is US$100 each for USA passport holders).
  • All items of a personal nature.
  • Yellow Fever Certificates are required in Kenya and Tanzania.


Nairobi sight-seeing. The vehicle cost is US$40.00 per vehicle& entrance fees to be paid directly as shown in brackets. Places of interest to visit are:  David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust – a haven for Orphaned baby elephants, open to the public form 11.00 – 12.00 noon (USD 5.00 per Adult& you can adopt a baby elephant for US$50 per elephant)   learn how the tiny orphaned animals are cared for as they come in for feeding – Then to the Giraffe Centre – where you can get close up to these elegant blue – tongued beauties & feed them (USD 10.00 per Adult). Bomas of Kenya afternoon tour at USD 10.00 per person- where you can see the different traditional tribal dances of Kenya.


NOTE: All above costs are made assuming payment will be with a bank transfer. If you wish to pay with a credit card, please add a 3.5% service charge to all costs.

Deposit & payment: We will require a 25% deposit at the time of confirmation, as June is in peak season, and the lodges & camps we have shown are smaller, so they require a deposit by December 10, 2017, with final payment required 55 days before date of travel.


Cancellation Conditions:
A) Tours cancelled between 55-36 days prior to commencement will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost per person.

(C) Tours cancelled less than 35 days prior to commencement will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the cost per person.


Useful Information:

  1. Please bring warm pullovers for early mornings & late evenings and comfortable walking shoes while on safari.
  2. Please only bring one bag (carry-on size) due to safari tour.
  3. We also recommend Hats, Sunglasses and Binoculars& wipes.
  4. Mosquito repellent cream for the evenings (mostly mosquitoes come out in the evenings) & Anti Septic cream to put on any insect bites
  5. We advise you do not bring or wear expensive jewelry
  6. US dollar notes issued before the year 2000 are not accepted anywhere in the hotels or lodges
  7. It is useful to tip porters & waiters approx. US$ 0.50 cts per suitcase & per meal. When you are happy with your driver/guide we recommend a tip of approx. US$20.00 total per day – this is a guideline only.
